Purpose: 

• To provide local chapter information to our members and sponsors
• To Provide another method of sharing our chapter's collective knowledge in audit and controls.

 Members are invited to submit articles on the following:

• Short, anecdotal narratives describing an audit experience
• Best Practices for logging user access/user logons
• Articles describing the steps in an IT audit that went particularly well
• Lessons learned from a tough audit
• Announcements of honors and awards received
• Pictures and other graphics that support your article are always welcomed!  

Distribution:

The newsletter will be published quarterly in both electronic and print formats, with the first issue being released mid-fall, 2006.

How to Submit an Article:

Please email your article in a .txt, .doc, or .rtf file format to publications@isacahouston.org .  Please be sure all quotes are cited appropriately. 

Reprints of previously published materials can not be considered without a release from the publishing organization except those  materials permitted by ISACA and ITGI.
